In the same way the currents of the Indian ocean brought sailors and merchants to a small island on the East-African coast where many cultures met, mixed, and live together – I was brought here, gently swayed by the currents of life, as I traveled across Africa by bicycle.
After falling in love with the bright colors and culture of island life, I set out on a mission to create clothes that would reflect how these make me feel.
Since then, Fadhili Original has become the reference in kitenge clothing and creative t-shirts in Zanzibar.
Based in Stone town, the capital of Zanzibar island, we use high-quality materials, and provide proper finishing and perfect fits.
We do shirts and shorts , skirts and tops, beach kimonos, trousers and T-shirts, from vibrant colorful sets to a more soft and muted tones, or even to just a hint of African-inspired style.
